Award Winning Wines from the Berkshire’s First Farm Winery Last year, the 2003 Chardonnay Special Reserve, 2004 Riesling and Muscato were awarded with silver medals at the Big E Wine Competition. Furnace Brook Winery is located at Hilltop Orchards, a 100 year-old farm that is a quintessential example of the open spaces that once dominated the Berkshire landscape. The Vittori family acquired the 200 acres in Richmond, MA in 1987 with a desire to ensure the preservation of the farm for generations to come. Nine years ago they diversified by founding the Berkshire’s first farm winery. |
